Presentation of project

Each month, schools will focus on a specific World Day, giving students the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities. These activities will lead to the creation of collaborative projects and the development of personal reflections.

Each school will work with its pupils in the way it considers most appropriate and effective. In addition to contributing to the collaborative projects, pupils will also have their
own personal drawing pad, visually depicting their understanding of World Day.

Teachers will tap into the diverse abilities of studentsapplying multi-dimensional approaches that promote participation and creativity.

1.      Programme design:

INDEPENDENT PLANNING FROM THE PROGRAM

Throughout the year, the teachers in our classes will work with students on additional global days of our choice. The students will have a drawing pad, which will serve as an individual portfolio but will also be used as a means of exchanging new ideas and practices.

How?

A page will be created on Twinspace where we can upload a page that the students have created to represent the global day we have worked on. At the end of the project, these pages will be compiled into a book. Each school will have the opportunity to select its most original idea to include.

COLLABORATIVE WORK

Two partners from the program will form a collaboration team each time, where they will first decide together on which global day the entire group will work on. Together, the two partners will:

  • Plan a collaborative activity (there are ideas on the "Expected Results" page).
  • Co-design educational material that encourages active student participation. Initially, they will create a presentation, which can be a PowerPoint or a video, with the students presenting to others what they have researched and discovered about the topic.

As part of the peer-to-peer learning method, students in collaboration with their teachers will research the World Day theme in depth and create a digital archive of the results of their research. Through online meetings and a shared digital archive, they will share their information, ideas and materials , share their knowledge with other schools, fostering inter-school collaboration.

  •  Create original games involving student participation.
  •  Organize a short online meeting
  • At the end of the activities, they will update the project calendar, recording the day and adding a photo, a quote, a poem, or any other element that matches the global day.(to be able to edit the calendar please login via email etwinningartists @gmail.com )

 Creating projects:

Students will work together to create projects in both individual and collaborative contexts.

Sharing and Reflection:

Students will communicate their projects to their peers, their parents and beyond school boundaries .locally and globally.

 Assessment and Feedback:

- Student Portfolio: Students will reflect on their learning journey through their personal work portfolios .( painting blocks)

- Peer feedback: Students and parents will have access to the digital whiteboards 'where they will provide feedback on each other's work.

- Reflection: giving students time to reflect on their learning and record their thoughts.

- Teacher observation: Teachers will assess student engagement and learning. with questionnaires

.- Questionnaires: use questionnaires to assess student and teacher experience.
